Brady's Greatest Day of Church

Well, the great day has finally arrived - Liam gets to go to nursery. It is hard to believe that he is already that old (did I really say that, I sound old myself). Brooke was very reluctant to send him to the nursery, but a call to the nursery leaders help reassure her. I have been waiting for this day for a long time. Liam did great and really loved singing and snack time. Anyway Liam made it through his first day of nursery.

Avery's 1st Day of School

Avery is pretty excited to be entering the 4th grade. She has two half time teachers, Mrs. Rawling and Mrs. Redding. She is really enjoying it and even likes doing the homework, so far. She is still reading a ton, and was pretty excited because she read Harry Potter 5 in three days.

Brooke is feeling "Wicked"

Brooke couldn't get enough of Wicked, so she had to go again. She is quite the little groupie. She waited after the production to see Glinda and Elphaba, and even get Boq's autograph. What are we going to do with her?

Swimming

It was fun to go swim in the new pool in North Ogden. The kids had quite a fun time.

Lagoon

Thanks for the wonderful trip to Lagoon. The kids seemed to have a lot of fun. It was all Avery talked about for days. She is still talking about it.

Liam's Haircut

As you might have heard or seen Liam got a haircut. I cut his hair, leaving a little bit of length on it. Brooke decided that she was going to "touch it up." She put the wrong size on the razor and nicked it pretty good. So to fix it little Liam got a short hair cut. He is still pretty cute kid though.

New Park

This is some pictures of the family at the new Skinners Bute Park. It is located next to the Williamette River. Liam and Avery both had funny climbing on all the new things.

Fall Creek

The fam took a little trip to Fall Creek for a night of camping. It is a beautiful area that is about 45 minutes from our house. It was Liam's first night on a camp out. It was a lot of fun, and quite the experience. We found out that Liam and his Dad both like their beds better. Liam didn't like his portable bed to much and spent most of the night sleeping with mom.

Avery really liked cooking marshmellows on the fire. She was a big help getting everything ready. When she was out wading in the water she saw what she describes as a crab/crawdad.

Liam, with his new hair cut, liked throwing rocks into the water. He sat played by the water forever, picking up rocks and throwing them into the water. I didn't mind because I was able to do the same thing, skipping rocks (15 was the high), hitting targets, and making big splashes. The whole trip was a lot of fun.

Liam and I @ the races

Here is Liam and I at the weekly bike race. Maybe he will follow in his dad's footsteps.

Swimming

We bought a little plastic swimming pool for the backyard. These are pic's of Avery and Liam out playing.

4th of July

Our family just got a tent to fit the whole family. Avery and I spent the night out in the tent. Around 4 in the morning I hear Avery start mumbling something. Then she says, "It doesn't cost very much! Only $4 dollars. Dad will you buy it, please! Dad will you buy it, please!" She doesn't remember what she was asking for, but it was pretty funny.

We had some guests over for the 4th of July. We had a barbaque and did some fireworks. It was a lot of fun.

Avery

Avery is growing so much. She continues to read non-stop and has recently taken interest in doing her hair. Avery is very excited to be going to the musical Wicked in September. Here are some pictures of her at the Saturday Market, the last day of school, and picking strawberries.
