For those of you that don't know there are two things I don't like to do: 1. get up on stage. 2 - Dance! I don't know how or why, but Luke and Matt talked me into doing an act in our ward talent show. Back in college Luke did the performance with some roommates at the Ricks College talent night and won the contest. So Luke got the idea to try it with some old guys and do it for the ward. It is a dance to the song, "Lonely Goat Herder," from the movie The Sound of Music. It is a good laugh.
Brady, Thanks for the link. I have had a hard time getting mine posted. I think Hollywood will be calling. We should see if we can get on the tv show "America's Best Dance Crew" Haha.
I am so surprised that you would do that Brady - it was AWESOME! I was laughing out loud watching by myself in my kitchen ! It looks like you guys have great friends there - that is so great! Let me know when you are coming to O-town next - would love to see you guys!
Ok now that I have seen it I am going to make sure that you are an entry in the next Springfield Middle School talent show. Your students will be inspired. Of course I might keep silent...how much is it worth to you...Kirsten
OH MAN! THAT WAS PRICELESS! I am sure glad...(oops) I mean, sad that I missed out on being one of the goat herders. How come I couldn't get you to do anything like that? All I could get was a few hours of mountain biking?!
That will be an instant classic on YouTube solely based on the number of times that I will watch it. I'm sure that Bishop Bingham loved that one, too.
Brady, I was getting such a kick out of watching Liam"s little dance over and over and laughing my head off, but you have given me another spot to watch my "dancing boys" thanks for the laugh. You guys must have put in some pretty good practice time - you were great! Mom
Llllooonnnggg time! I linked over from the Clinger's blog. Kristy keeps me updated on you guys but it seems like ages since Brady and I used to watch track meets from the sidelines together with the kids!
Since we haven't seen each other since I don't know when (Avery and Isaac were toddlers I know that), this was a GREAT reintroduction!!!
Now that song is going to be stuck in my head for the rest of the day...
Hopefully everyone enjoyed us making fools of ourselves. I was trying to picture the staff at our school trying to learn that dance - a pretty funny thought. Cecily, it is good to hear from you. Glad things are going well. It has been a long time. You probably wouldn't recognize Avery now - quite the grown up 10 year old. Isaac is probably pretty big himself.
Martin, as you know, was in your ward Sunday. One of the men in your ward commented to him that he enjoyed his (Martin's) dancing that he saw on his blog.
He came home and was so embarrassed and asked if I had a video of him dancing on my blog. Nope. No idea what he was talking about.... and Martin had no idea who the guy was that said that to him.
It finally dawned on me that it was probably YOUR blog (or one of your friends who posted it...) and this guy was confusing Martin with one of your goat herders!!!
Oh you should've seen Martin's face when he thought I had him dancing on my blog!!! Just the thought makes me smile...
That was so awesome!!!!! I saw you guys practicing in the primary room and I was dying to find out what you were up to! Now I know, thanks for posting that!

Well, that was the best laugh we had all week! As Randy Jackson would say, "props to you" Brady!
