Haircuts

Liam and I just new haircuts. My favorite haircut has always been the buzz cut. But I had a small accident as a 2 year old that has left me with a pretty good scar. I don't get to shave it too close. I decided to give it a try anyway. Liam got one as well. I am jealous that his is shorter than mine. Brooke's only consolation is that it will grow back in a few weeks.

Fell off a slide when I was 2. Fractured my skull into 3 pieces. I know what your thinking - and yes it does explain a lot.

I thought a haircut post was coming after seeing you guys today. I think they look slick.

I was wondering what your scar looked like from when you were little. I will have to show Parker. I think it will help him know he's not alone in big ol' scars on the cranium.

I usually don't get queasy very easily, but that turned my stomach a bit. YOu need a whole post just on this accident. Sad.

That was not a good day in the Cottle Family. I was at work when Brady fell off a slipery slide and landed on his head on a pile of cement. His mom brought him to the clinic I was working at and we took him to be x-rayed and the radiologist didn't know I was his Dad and said this is the worst break he had every seen. Ear to ear and three depressed fractures. I rode with him to a pediatratic speciality hospital in downtown Chicago. They were trying to get an IV in and I was with Bub and after about to tries and my son is so messed up I reached across and grabed the nurse by the neck and said you are not going to do that again. Needless to say I caused quite the issue. Brady was in surgery so some time and we were all blessed that he made it, let alone being half way normal. You will have to have him tell you it all or better yet I should. Brady's dad, DOUG
