Where did my little Avery go? All of the sudden she is no longer a little girl running around. Let me explain. I started to realize Avery was growing when we went to get her some new shoes. As they measured her feet I was surprised that Avery's feet are a half size smaller than Brooke's. Avery broke her glasses three times this last year and has been waiting, with only one side arm of her glasses still on, for her contacts. She has adapted real well to them and can put them on and off with no trouble.
Brooke has a family tradition that you can get your ears pierced when you are 12, so Avery was so excited to get them pierced. "Whoever said it doesn't hurt to get your ears pierced is lying!" Finally, Avery has had the same hairdo since the day she was born- same length, with no bangs. Well, she decided to get it cut. She looks a lot older! Some of the pictures are from Avery's first temple trip in Portland. Where did my little Avery go?

I know! She really has grown so much and is almost taller than me. Almost. I think I still have her but just barely.
I love her new hair-do. She looks all grown up.
:)
She is not in Young Women's already, is she? She is looking so grown up, it is scary. What a darling girl.
I recognize pretty much no one from that Temple Trip picture. Greg and Lowden, Avery, Sis. Lake, and maybe a Garver. The ward has changed a lot. Sad, although I guess inevitable.
Hope all is well with new baby.
Avery,
You are so grown-up and beautiful. The new "do", the big frameless eyes and the fun bling on the ears are all wonderful. But mostly you are beautiful because of the goodness that radiates through those big brown eyes. I love you!
Oh my gosh! She is getting so old and so pretty. (She always was. It's just a more grown-up pretty now.) Oh we miss her sweet little self so much.
We miss you all and did I tell you how excited I am for the new baby? I've been meaning to call Brooke and will have to do it soon. Oh I hope we can see you all sometime soon. Much love.
What a beautiful young lady!
I wish little Avrey were mine. I love having a little friend around to visit with and be such responsible little helper with the younger siblings. So jeolous she isn't mine. Tell her how beautiful I think she is. She is such a great mmix of you both! Meg
